The judge did not sentence the accused for the crime of rape and murder due to the fact that the prosecution failed miserably to establish that fact but on kidnap and illegal detention. It will be an injustice if an innocent person is convicted of a crime he did not commit and a greater injustice for the victim and scary if the criminal perpetrators are still out there.
